When you cut out the old floor, be very careful. Set your circular saw to 5/8 inch depth and cut in squares. STAY AWAY from the sides of the boat. Otherwise, you'll cut right through the hull. Make sure you cut out in the middle, over the stringers. This only applies to RAISED DECK floors. The single core floors (pre-1971, I think) would be a very different job to replace.
